The Vice President and Secretary General of the International Wushu Federation honored the championships with their presence today, personally presenting medals to the day's winners at Sports Hall "Mladost".

The 5th World Taijiquan Championships in Burgas reached a new symbolic high today with the attendance of two of the most influential figures in the global wushu movement. Anthony Goh, Vice President of the International Wushu Federation (IWUF), and Yuping Zhang, Secretary General of the IWUF, were guests of honor at Sports Hall "Mladost" - and personally took to the podium to present medals to the day's winners.

The presence of both officials together is more than a ceremonial gesture. It reflects the significance the international wushu community places on this edition of the championships, which has already broken every record in its history with 44 participating nations and 400 athletes - the largest field ever assembled for a World Taijiquan Championships.

With today's appearance of the IWUF Vice President and Secretary General, Burgas 2026 has now welcomed a substantial portion of the federation's executive leadership in person - a testimony to the championship's standing within the global wushu calendar.
