Beyond the competition, Cangzhou is using new technology to present its Wushu heritage to international audiences. Ahead of the event, the city released Iron Lion: The Sentinel of Time, a 17-minute AI-generated short film inspired by Cangzhou’s Wushu traditions, the historic Iron Lion and the Grand Canal. Since its release on September 5, the film has reportedly gained more than 5.51 million views.
