Primorsky Territory Wushu Athletes Compete at Russian Championship with Over 600 Top Participants
Athletes from the Primorsky Territory Wushu Federation competed at the Russian Championship, which gathered more than 600 of the strongest participants from across the country who qualified through district competitions. Primorye was represented at the tournament by eight athletes from Ussuriysk and Vladivostok.
Following the competition results, Primorye athletes won two bronze awards. Victoria Mikhailenko from Vladivostok became a medalist in the short weapons program. Gleb Ulanov and Konstantin Mukhachev from Ussuriysk took the podium in the duilian discipline—a paired performance where synchronicity, technique, and athlete interaction are important.
The remaining representatives of the territory managed to enter the top ten in individual program types, withstanding serious competition—in several disciplines, more than 50 participants competed for medals. Based on the performance results, some athletes confirmed and fulfilled the candidate for master of sports standard.
