A championship and tournament of the Belgorod region in wushu sanda was held in Stary Oskol on February 21-22. Teams from Valuyki, Stary Oskol, Novy Oskol, Volokonovka, as well as from Voronezh and Rostov regions participated in the tournament. A total of 175 athletes competed for prize places.

The Novooskolsky district was represented by the sports clubs "Peresvet"—coached by Sergey Ermolin and Margarita Ermolina—and "Voin"—coached by Vitaly Polyansky. The district's athletes showed excellent results across all medal categories.

First place finishers included Leontyeva Alexandra, Novikov Ivan, and Terekhov Matvey. Second place went to Titovskaya Valeria, Efremov Kirill, Cherkashin Maxim, and Baidalin Denis. Third place was earned by Chaly Kirill, Strizhak Anton, Akhmedov Dmitry, Golubin Artem, Dimitriev Dmitry, Sandakryshin Matvey, Lazarev Ilya, Efremov Zakhar, and Poteichuk David.

Congratulations to the athletes on their successful performance and best wishes for new achievements in sport! The competition brought together a strong field from multiple regions, showcasing the growing development of wushu sanda in southwestern Russia.
