Jun Lun Professional Wushu Training Center now has new premises in Pines Square, Batu Kawa, marking a forward step in their journey to develop wushu professionally. President Lucas Lim Tee Kiat said this development reflects the perseverance, unity, and high spirit of all parties involved.

"The progress of this training center throughout the year reflects the joint efforts of many parties. From our beginnings as Sekama Wushu Club which had to borrow training space, through Jun Lun's registration in 2020 and operating in a small rental space, we finally occupy wider and more complete facilities. This journey has never been easy,"

he said at the pre-launch of Jun Lun Professional Wushu Training Center, officiated by Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) Chairman Tan Kai at Pines Square, Batu Kawa yesterday.

Lucas said the club was built from the ground up, with focus on regular training, discipline, and athlete development.

"We started from scratch, developing a training system in stages, refining training modules and preparing athletes for competitions. Despite many challenges, we stuck to the principle of doing everything carefully, guiding children well, and maintaining the spirit of wushu," he added.

Lim also emphasized that the success of opening this training center is not the result of individual effort alone, but rather the result of dedication from coaches, committee members, and solid support from parents.

"Through unity and mutual trust, Jun Lun managed to achieve encouraging results at local and international levels in a short time," he said. He shared the center's future plans, including increasing professionalism and training safety, strengthening athlete development pathways, and promoting wushu in the Batu Kawa community. "We hope that one day, Batu Kawa will be known as a strong wushu center with brilliant talents," Lim said.
