India has named a seven-member wushu team for the 2026 Asian Games, with three men and four women set to compete across Sanda and Taolu. Naorem Roshibina Devi was added to the squad as a last-minute replacement for Divyanshi Chaudhary.

Aryan and Vikrant Baliyan will compete in Sanda, in the men’s 56kg and 75kg categories respectively. Aparna will represent India in the women’s 52kg division, while Roshibina Devi returns to the 60kg category, where she won a silver medal at the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou.

The Taolu team features Suraj Singh Mayanglambam in men’s Changquan, Nyeman Wangsu in women’s Changquan and Langlentombi Devi Hanjabam in the combined Nanquan and Nandao event. Suraj previously finished fifth in Changquan at Hangzhou 2022.

Roshibina’s silver remains India’s best wushu result at the Asian Games. With a balanced squad across Sanda and Taolu, India will aim to challenge strong Asian wushu nations and add to its medal tally in 2026.
