Wulang School Wins Three Medals at Spanish Traditional Wushu Championships
The Wulang School of Tomelloso, led by coach Claudiu Mihaila, returned from the 16th Spanish Traditional Wushu Championships in Vinaròs, Castellón, with an impressive haul of three national medals: one gold, one silver, and one bronze.
The standout result came from Alejandra Lacatus Burnea, who claimed the Spanish championship title and the gold medal in the women's Tui Shou over-75 kg division.
Elena Caro Andújar added a silver medal after finishing as runner-up in the women's under-65 kg Tui Shou category, while Lorena Jareño Carretero secured a bronze medal with a third-place finish.
The three athletes represented both Tomelloso and the Wulang School in a highly competitive national event that featured some of the country's top traditional wushu practitioners.
Following the championship, Claudiu Mihaila and the school's leadership expressed their satisfaction with the results, praising the athletes' performances and the hard work they have put in throughout the season.
