Successful Sanda Seminar Held in Nafplio
With 60 participants and a dynamic presence of athletes from all over Greece, an 8-hour Sanda seminar was held in Nafplio with internationally recognized Italian master Fabrizio Moschella. The seminar took place on Saturday, February 28, and Sunday, March 1, 2026. The event was organized by the local club as part of their consistent and long-term commitment to strengthening and substantially promoting Wushu Kungfu.
The training sessions were hosted at the Nafplio Municipal Sports Center, in a space that ideally served the requirements of an eight-hour educational process. Sanda (Chinese boxing) is the competitive form of Chinese Wushu, combining punches, kicks, and throws. Matches are conducted on an elevated platform (leitai), where strategy, rhythm management, and composure determine the outcome.
At the national level, the responsible federation is the Hellenic Wushu Kung Fu Federation. At the international level, Sanda is cultivated under the supervision of the International Wushu Federation, with institutionalized competitions, continental and world championships that shape its competitive framework worldwide. The seminar program included analysis of basic and complex techniques, competitive tactics and rhythm management, and practical application in realistic competitive conditions.
Fabrizio Moschella brought high-level experience, emphasizing attention to detail. All participants were awarded certificates of participation, while commemorative T-shirts were also offered. Special thanks are extended to all participants, athletes and coaches who practically supported the organization. Warm thanks are also expressed to the Municipality of Nafplion for providing the hall, and to the leading sports equipment company SEVEN, which has consistently supported the progress of combat sports. The success of the event confirms once again that the club operates with consistency, seriousness, and faith in what has been built over all these years.
