Podolsk athletes Arseniy Shpagin and Vasily Romanov earned silver medals at the finals of the 13th Summer Spartakiad of Russian School Students, held in Kazan. Both competitors reached the podium in the sanda division after strong performances against top youth athletes from across the country.

Shpagin claimed silver in the men's 48 kg weight category, while Romanov finished second in the 60 kg division. Their results contributed to a successful campaign for the Moscow Region team.

Overall, the Moscow Region delegation collected eight medals at the tournament, finishing with one gold, five silver, and two bronze medals.

The national youth competition featured 174 athletes from 32 regions of Russia, highlighting the country's top emerging wushu talent in one of its most prestigious junior events.
