Indonesian singer and former member of parliament Kris Dayanti added another achievement to her career by winning a gold medal at the 2026 Indonesian National Wushu Kung Fu Championships. She claimed first place in the Shanzi Group E Female category during the tournament, which was held from July 22 to 26 at the Main Atrium of Alam Sutera Mall in Tangerang, Banten.

Sharing the news on social media, Kris Dayanti wrote: "1st PLACE – SHANZI – GROUP E FEMALE in the 2026 Indonesian National Wushu Kungfu Championships, held from July 22–26, 2026, at Main Atrium Mal Alam Sutera, Tangerang, Banten." She also posted photos of herself receiving her gold medal and championship certificate after the competition.
