Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Johar Nabil, held a meeting with the Egyptian Wushu Kung Fu Federation to review the organization’s future plans and support the continued development of the sport. The meeting was part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to monitor and strengthen national sports federations.

During the discussion, federation officials presented their upcoming strategy, reviewed recent activities and achievements, and outlined plans to expand participation, improve talent development, and strengthen the overall structure of the sport in Egypt.

The minister emphasized the government’s commitment to maintaining close cooperation with sports federations in order to support national teams and achieve stronger results at continental and international competitions. He also praised the federation’s efforts in developing wushu and securing notable successes in recent years.

The meeting included Egyptian, Arab, and African Wushu Federation president Sherif Mostafa, who also serves as vice president of the International Wushu Federation, alongside several board members and federation executives.

Officials described the session as an important step toward building long-term development plans for Egyptian wushu, with a focus on athlete support, organizational growth, and continued international competitiveness.
