The Croatian Wushu Championship, featuring static tuishou and light sanda, was held on April 11 at the Vinko Bek Sports Hall in Zagreb. The event brought together competitors from across the country in a display of skill and competitive spirit.
Taijiquan Wushu Club Vukovar participated with 12 athletes in the static tuishou discipline and achieved strong results, winning a total of 10 medals: four gold, four silver, and two bronze. The performances highlighted the club’s depth and preparation across multiple categories.
Top results included first-place finishes by Natalija Cvetojević and Sebastijan Kresojević, while Milan Basta won gold in the junior division and silver in the senior category. Luka Kojić also stood out, taking gold among cadets and bronze among juniors.
Additional podium finishes came from Alen Bilogrević, Jelena Begović, and Damjan Kresojević, who each secured silver medals, while Aleksandar Bilogrević earned bronze. Several other athletes represented the club but did not reach the podium this time.
The project received financial support from the Vukovar City Sports Association, contributing to the club’s continued development and participation in national competitions.
